Why this site exists
Anyone who has tried a coupon site knows the pattern. Twenty codes for the same shop, every one stamped “verified”, and not one of them takes anything off the total. The codes came from an automated feed, nobody looked at them, and the page exists to catch search traffic rather than to save anyone money.
CouponTested takes a more deliberate approach instead: offers are entered by a person, details are reviewed before publication, and pages are kept readable rather than being filled automatically.
What we publish
- Coupon codes and deals that have been manually reviewed, with a last-checked date when one is recorded.
- Deals and sales that do not need a code, linked straight to the relevant page.
- The conditions attached to each offer: minimum spend, excluded ranges, single use, expiry.
What we do not publish
- Automatically published feed entries that nobody has reviewed.
- “Up to 80% off” headlines when the real offer is 10% on one category.
- Expired offers left on the page to make a store look busier than it is.
- Review stars or ratings we have not collected, in the page or in its structured data.
How the site pays for itself
Some outgoing links are affiliate links. If you follow one and buy something, the store may pay us a small commission, and you pay exactly the same price. Commission rates play no part in which stores get a page, which offers are listed, or the order they appear in. The full explanation is on our affiliate disclosure page.
Getting things wrong
Retailers can withdraw promotions without notice and change terms at any time, so an offer can become outdated after it was reviewed. When you find one, tell us on the contact page so the entry can be checked, corrected, deactivated or removed. Corrections are an important part of keeping the site useful.
Editorial independence
Stores cannot pay for a listing, for a higher position, or for a “featured” badge. If that ever changes, it will be stated on the page in question and in our editorial policy before anything is published.
